International Certificate (PTE General) Level 2 (B1)

PTE General consists of two parts: a written paper and a spoken test. The written paper tests listening, reading comprehension and writing skills. The spoken test is a 5.5 minute session consisting of a timed interaction between a test taker and an interlocutor. There are three sections:

1. discussion
2. describe picture
3. role play

Test time: 1 hr 35 mins

How much does it cost?
The test fees are set by each center. These tests are reasonably priced. The higher level tests are more expensive than the lower level ones.
Expect to pay £50 for level A1 and £100 for level 5.
